and Injured by Oil Truck on
Flanner Street.Bessie May Hinshaw, 6, was injured but believed not to have been serious when struck by a truck at the intersection of Flanner street and Webb avenue at 4:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
Patrolman Harry Hanner made an investigation and reported that the truck belonged to the Sinclair Oil company. The driver had made an effort to avoid hitting the child, he said, as skid marks showed.
She married Deual Willard Mann.5 Deual, son of Thomas Vance Mann & Lillie Boggs, was born Alamance County, North Carolina.5
Deual died Aug 12 1973, at his home, Liberty, North Carolina; age 50.5

Deual Mann LIBERTY -- Deual Willard Mann, 50, of Rt. 3, Liberty, died unexpectedly at his home Sunday night at 9 p.m.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Thomas Vance and Lillie Boggs Mann, and was the husband of Mrs. Bessie Hinshaw Mann, who survives. He was a third shift supervisor at Brown-Wooton-Guggenheim Hosiery in Burlington, and he was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Betty Jean Copeland and Mrs. Kathy Price, both of Burlington, Miss Brenda Sue Mann of the home; sons Deual W. Mann, Jr. and Thomas Wayne Mann, both of Burlington, Roland Mann of the home; sisters, Mrs. Clary Byrd, Asheboro, Mrs. Virginia Riley, Haw River; brothers Alvis E. Mann, Mebane, Richard Mann, Graham; and seven grandchildren.
Final rites will be held at James Street Pilgrim Baptist Church in Burlington Tuesday at 5 p.m. The Rev. Willard Janey, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Burlington.
The body was taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Kathy Price of 1507 Bowman St., this afternoon where it will remain until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
