Walter A. Henshaw, 91

NEW BEDFORD -- Walter A. Henshaw, 91, of Mattapoisett died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, at Sacred Heart Home.  He was the son of the late John and Anne (Killeen) Henshaw.  

A lifelong resident of Mattapoisett, he was a self-employed carpenter.  

Mr. Henshaw served in the Army during World War II.  

Survivors include a sister, Alice M. Henshaw of Mattapoisett; a niece, Sandra H. McIlmail of Mattapoisett; and a nephew, George L. Henshaw of Mattapoisett.  

He was the brother of the late Valentine Henshaw and George F. Henshaw.  

His committal service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at St. Anthony Cemetery, Mattapoisett.  

Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 495 Park St.
