Born 1832, Preston County, Virginia.1
She married John 'Uncle Tom' Menefee, Jun 20 1855.1 John, son of Benjamin K. + Emily Menefee, was born 1818, near Culpeper, Culpeper County, Virginia.1
John had been previously married twice, to Sarah Evans and to Eunice ‘Nicy’ Bell.1 He had six children from his first marriage: Louisa Schaffer, Anna Amy Jeffreys, Delia Ellen Knotts, William Benton Menefee, Cordelia Frazier and Sarah Gibson.1

George W. Menefee, born Apr 13 1859; died 1895; married Ida F. Troutman (children: Horace Frank Menefee, Hart Menefee and Columbia G. Barnhart).
Charles Edward Menefee, born 1862; died Aug 25 1877, age 15.
Isabella Jane "Belle" Menefee; unmarried as of 1942.
Guy H. Menefee.
Robert "Franklin" Menefee, born 1865; died 1923; married Minnie May Proudfoot.
Mary Catherine "Molly" Menefee, born 1867; married Elmer E. Rush, Feb 10 1891 (children: Lulu August Rush, Bess Gertrude Rush, George Evans Rush and John Kenneth Rush).
Arlene Grace Menefee, born Jan 3 1871; married William Franklin Stuck (child: Mildred Virginia Stuck).
Ruhama Hanshaw died Jan 8 1891.1
