Note the 1860 census above seems to show a wife with a name similar to Lovenia (although the handwriting is unclear) in June of 1860, in spite of Lovenia being recorded in cemetery records as dying in August of 1859, and in the 1860 federal Mortality Schedule as dying in September of 1859. It is unclear if James might have remarried, or if the 1860 census was in error.
James apparently remarried to a Rachael --.8
