Cliff graduated from Greenwood Community High School in May 1980, and from IUPUI in May 1987.²

He married Carol Lynn Coburn, May 16 1984, Marion County, Indiana.^2,3 Carol, daughter of Berlyn J. "Bert" Coburn & Rosemary "Rosie" Ahler.⁴

Cliff and Carol have had Indianapolis addresses for most of their first 20 years, then moved to Zionsville, Indiana.²

Cliff's obituary was published in "The Indianapolis Star" (Indianapolis, Indiana) on February 24, 2016:⁵
