Return from West Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stransky have returned to their home in Riverside after passing four months in California visiting their daughter, Mrs. Harry Henshaw and family in San Francisco, and Mrs. Stransky's brother, August Thomann, in Oakland. One thing marred their visit. Mr. Stransky was seriously ill for several weeks but is now completely recovered and feeling fine.
While there they visited the Golden Gate Exposition on Treasure Island and report that what has been said about the beauty of the exposition is no exaggeration. Another impressive sight, according to the Stranskys, is the Golden Gate bridge with its long suspension span.

When fairly young Harry was a piano salesman. The shop he worked for would put a small portable piano out on the street, and Harry would play it to entice customers. He could play anything he'd ever heard. He could go to a brand new show and come home and play the entire score on the piano. He never learned to read music. His sons never got to hear him play, as they couldn't afford a piano.10
Harry Forrest Henshaw died Nov 7 1964, San Francisco County, California; age 82.7
Dorothy died Jan 1 1987, Solano County, California; age 91.7,9
