HENSHAW, DOROTHY M. - Dorothy M. Henshaw, of Poughkeepsie, formerly of Sleepy Hollow, and a summer resident of Brant Lake, died on October 18, 2006 at her residence.  She was 101.  Mrs. Henshaw was born November 29, 1904 in Hoboken, NJ.  She was educated in Tarrytown and graduated from Washington Irving High School in 1923.  On June 29, 1928, she married Joseph H. Henshaw in Tarrytown.  Mrs. Henshaw lived in Poughkeepsie for the past three years.  Before that, she lived in Sleepy Hollow for most of her life.  Locally, she was a member of The Neighborhood House, active member of the former Hope Presbyterian Church and Cub Scout/Den Mother.  She is survived by one son, Joseph Henshaw and wife Joan of Brant Lake, daughter-in-law Diane Henshaw of Wappingers; eight grandchildren, Lyn Derway of Lake George, Kim Bolton of Schroon Lake, David Henshaw of Wappingers Falls, Suzanne Henshaw of Stormville, Nancy McDonough of Lake Carmel, Dawn Henshaw of Pine Plains, Wendy DeBendictus of Marlboro and Robert P. Henshaw, Jr. of Poughkeepsie, 14 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.  Also surviving is one sister Alice Francisco of N. Carolina.  She is predeceased by her husband Joseph H. Henshaw in 1984 and one son Robert P. Henshaw in 2002.  Visitation is Friday, October 20 from 5 to 8 pm at Dwyer Funeral Home, Tarrytown.  Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, at 10 am, at the funeral home and interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.  DWYER FUNERAL HOME 90 North Broadway Tarrytown (914)631-0621
