Born about 1695. Christened Aug 31 1695, Spalding, Lincolnshire.1
In October 1720, a Nicholas Henshaw (believed to be this same Nicholas) was sentenced as a felon and boarded the ship "Gilbert",2,3 under Captain Darby Lux, and was transported from London, England, to Annapolis, Maryland. His surname was listed as "Hanshaw," and was recorded as being from Surrey, aged 25, and fair. He arrived in Annapolis on the "Gilbert" in May 1721, and was listed as one of 25 felons.3
This is probably the same as Nicholas Hancher/Henshaw #302.4
