Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the White Funeral Home, Summersville. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Ford Ray Hanshaw Ford Ray Hanshaw, 83, of Drennen, Nicholas County, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2006, at home.
Born April 30, 1923, at Bell Creek, he was a son of the late Raymond and Virgie Schoolcraft Hanshaw. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nina Fagan Hanshaw; grandson, Michael; brothers, Eugene and Bob; and a sister, Ivy.
Survivors include his sons, Damon and wife, Sandy, of Canvas and Vesper and wife, Dee, of Drennen; grandchildren, Henry, Ann, Zachary and Whitney; great-granddaughter, AnnaLei; brothers, Otto, Jay and Sebert, all of Drennen, and Carl of Twenty Mile; and a sister, Arbutus McGonigal of Nallen.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 1, at White Funeral Home, Summersville, with the Rev. William Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Hanshaw family cemetery at Poe.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
