Born 1773.²  

He married Elizabeth Stafford.^3,4,5  Elizabeth is thought to have been the daughter of Richard and Catherine Stafford of Hampshire County, West Virginia.⁶  

He then married Elizabeth Mounts^7,8,9, Apr 29 1806^7,8,9 [Feb 18 1799^8,9], Berkeley County, Virginia^7,8,9.  Elizabeth, daughter of Providence Mounts & Hannah Van Meter.¹⁰  

Jonathan settled in Coshocton County, Ohio.^2,3,5,11,12
