On Sep 12 1918 Harvey Edward Henshaw, age 18, registered for the World War I draft in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He declared he was born August 16 1900, and was then residing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He was recorded as medium height, medium build, blue eyes, and "lost a finger left hand".4  

He married Gladys Rosfeld, about 1923.1,2  Gladys was born Aug 3 1902, Pennsylvania.1,6

Henshaw, Harvy E., head-of-household, age 29, born in Pennsylvania; father born in England; mother born in Wales; first married at age 22; rented home ($50.00 rent); radio in home; occupation: mechanic, auto repair shop; not a war veteran.
Henshaw, Gladys M., wife, age 27, born in Pennsylvania; father born in Pennsylvania; mother born in Ohio; first married at age 21.
Henshaw, Charles R., son, age 4 years 9 months, born in Pennsylvania; parents born in Pennsylvania.
Henshaw, Thomas E., son, age 2 years 5 months, born in Pennsylvania; parents born in Pennsylvania.

Gladys died Feb - 1984.6
