On Sep 12 1918 Winfield Tilden Kelley, age 37, registered for the World War I draft in Beaver City, Furnas County, Nebraska.  He declared he was born January 15 1881, and was then residing in Beaver City where he was a self-employed merchant.  He declared his nearest relative was Eve H. Kelley of Beaver City.  He was recorded as tall, slender, gray eyes, dark brown hair.9
