June 20, 1925 - January 17, 2012HENSHAW, Jack A., age 86, passed away on January 17, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Helen Henshaw; daughter Angie (Mark) Evans; son Kelly (Sandy) Henshaw and grandson Nicholas Quarterman. Graveside Services will be held at eleven o'clock in the morning, the 21st of January, at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Henshaw received his Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Tennessee in 1950, and his Masters Degree in Sanitary Engineering from Harvard University in 1955. He was a Civil Engineer in Nashville for 50 years. Prior to his professional career, Mr. Henshaw served in the United States Army, during three years of World War II, he served with the 63rd Infantry Division, most of it in France and Germany. On June 14, 1945, he received the Bronze Star for his actions during the Battle of the Bulge. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Alive Hospice of Nashville. Visitation will be held following the graveside service from 11:30am in the morning till three o'clock in the afternoon of Saturday, the 21st of January at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, (615) 383-4754

Nashville, TNHelen Henshaw age 90, passed away on March 23, 2016.
Helen loved traveling with family and had visited all 50 states. Helen, an artist by nature created many treasures for her friends and family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt she cherished her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Jack.
Helen is survived by daughter, Angie; son, Kelly (wife, Sandy); and grandson, Nicholas (fiancé, Sarah); other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of Maristone of Providence and staff of Alive Hospice for their devotion to Helen and our family.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from four until seven in the evening on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be at eleven-thirty in the morning on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall with visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St., Nashville, TN 37203.
