He married Ruby Opal Kilgore, 1938.⁶  Ruby, daughter of Randel Kilgore & Sarah Elizabeth Miller, was born Feb 19 1917, Plainview, Arkansas.⁶  

In 1992 Arthur was living in Climax Springs, Camden County, Missouri.⁴  

Arthur J. Henshaw died Aug 13 1992.⁴  

Ruby died Mar 23 2006, Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; age 89.⁶

Ruby Opal Henshaw Ruby Opal (Kilgore) Henshaw, 89, of Clinton, Missouri passed away March 23, 2006 at the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at Maple Hill Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Opal was born Feb. 19, 1917 in Plainview, AR, the daughter of Sarah Elizabeth (Miller) Kilgore and Randel Kilgore.  Her stepfather was Joe Shafer.  She grew up in Kansas City, KS and had three brothers: Harvey, Harrel and Orville.  In 1938 she married Arthur Henshaw.  They raised three daughters.  She lived in Climax Springs MO, from 1965 to 1978.  She and Arthur retired in Kansas City, KS.  Opal moved to Clinton, MO in 2000.  She was active in the Nazarene Church.  She was a member of Victory Hills Nazarene Church in Kansas City, KS worked at the Nazarene Publishing House and most recently attended the Clinton Church of the Nazarene.  As a member of the Jolly '17ers club, an organization for women born in 1917.  She traveled widely to events and to visit other members and corresponded with members across the county.  In 2000 at the age of 83, she earned a general education degree.  Opal was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Timothy, two brothers and a son-in-law Warren.  Survivors include daughters: Joy Craighead and husband Ronald, Mission, KS, Linda Phillips, Clinton, MO; and Treva Jones and husband Charlie, Warsaw, MO; brother: Orville Kilgore and wife Doris, Merriam, KS; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.  (Arr; Maple Hill Funeral Home, (913)8313345).
