Mrs. Edward Hanshaw, 1047 High Street, entertained Camp Rick Auxiliary, No. 34, at her home Thursday evening and awarded prizes for cards.
Mrs. Myrtle Heilig, Mrs. Fred German, Mrs. James Hickey and Mrs. John McGinniss were the recipients.
Plans were made for a tureen supper to precede the next meeting Thursday, Feb. 15.

Edward Hanshaw, 74, of 1047 High Street, injured when struck by a truck, Friday, remained in a critical condition early this morning.

Fatally Injured
In Auto Accident
Edward C. Hanshaw, 74, died at the Williamsport Hospital Monday morning, June 11, 1945, of injuries suffered when he was struck by a truck while walking on the Williamsport-Trout Run highway Friday night.
Mr. Hanshaw resided at 1047 High Street.
He leaves his wife Mary; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Moodie, city; Mrs. Elmer Mitstifer, Garden View; one son, Robert, with the Navy in the South Pacific; eight grandchildren, one of whom is in the Navy.
The deceased was a member of Iona Lodge, I.O.O.F. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War and a member of Camp Rick. In 1938 he retired as a car inspector for the Pennsylvania Railroad Company.
Services will be held at the funeral home, 500 West Fourth Street, at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. W. C. Watson, of Bethany Presbyterian Church, of which he was a member, will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home between 7 and 9 o'clock tonight. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
