In 1969 a Vera E. Hinshaw (believed to be this Vera Ellen Frary Hinshaw) painted an oil-on-canvas titled "Maine Beside the Water".9 It is not known if Vera painted extensively or not, or what other artworks she created, or how widely-known she was.
Joseph Henry Hinshaw died Jan - 1976, buried Section 7, Summit Lawn Cemetery, Westfield, Hamilton County, Indiana.2,10
Joe's obituary was published in the "Indianapolis Star" (Indianapolis, Indiana) on Monday-Tuesday, February 2-3, 1976.11
