He married Selma Margaret Thomas5 [Margaret Thomas4], Aug 19 19345, Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada5.  Selma, daughter of John Oliver Thomas + Anna Avarilla Davis, was born Sep 27 1901, Dewey, Madison County, Montana.4,5,6,7,8,9  

"Whitey" (so named because of his white hair) was a musician who traveled throughout the U.S. during WWII playing at USO dances.  Whitey jammed with "Red Nichols and The 5 Pennies" and "The Firehouse 5 Plus 2".  He played the saxophone.5  

Whitey and Selma did not have any children, but very much enjoyed her nephews.5  

Whitey and Selma were shown in the 1944 city directory of San Bernardino, California:10
