HENSHAW, SAM
Sam Thomas Henshaw born Oct. 17, 1931, in Mascot, Tenn., passed away April 14, 2007, at the age of 75. He resided in Las Vegas for 57 years. He was a head gardener at the Sands Hotel. He was also a member of Local 995. Sam was an avid fisherman. He had a secret recipe for chili. It was delicious. Sam baked pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving and cookies for all his grandchildren for Christmas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Golden and Marie Henshaw; and his sons, Ronald T. Henshaw and Michael Warren. He is survived by his wife, Donna of 54 years; children, Dorothea, Barbara, Debra, Janie, Jimmy, Jeff and Susie; 64 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His wife sat at his side until the end. His daughter, Dorothea and daughter-in-law, Michelle took care of Sam to the very end. They were there every day. Sam will truly be missed. We all love you Dad. No words can express how much a man could be loved like you, but I know you can. Mom. No services.
