Isaac was shown in the 1850 census, Londonderry District, Ross County, Ohio, living in the household of his sister Rebecca:3

John Francis, age 23, born in Ohio; farmer; $860 real estate.
Rebecca Francis, age 41, born in Ohio; cannot read or write.
Mary J. Francis, age 3 months, born in Ohio.
Isaac Hinshaw, age 68, born in North Carolina; farmer; $1180 real estate.
George Hinshaw, age 58, born in North Carolina; farmer; $320 real estate.
Living nearby were his brothers Nathan4 and Rueben,5 and sister Jane.6  

Isaac Hinshaw died Dec 5 1850, buried Peecher Cemetery, north of Londonderry, Ross County, Ohio.7  

Isaac had prepared his will on Nov 12 1850, as follows:8

In the name of God Amen.  

I, Isaac Hinshaw, of the county of Ross and State of Ohio being sick and weak in body but of sound mind and memory, considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof, do make this my last will and testament.  

First, after my funeral expenses and just debts is paid as follows;

Second I appoint my brother, George Hinshaw, executor of my estate.  

Third, it is my will none of my personal property is to be appraised nor sold.  

Fourth, it is my will to Sarah Lytle ten dollars, to Jane Hobson ten dollars, Rachel Timmons ten dollars, Rebecca France ten dollars and one young, white- faced cow, my brother, Reuben Hinshaw ten dollars.  

Fifth I will all my personal property with the exception of the young white-faced cow that's give to Rebecca France, to my brother George Hinshaw with the exception of the blacksmith tools, them I will to my brother Nathan Hinshaw.  

Sixth, I will to my brother George Hinshaw the undivided tenth part of Section one and two, Range twenty, Township eight of land owned by my father, Jacob Hinshaw, also my claim on sixty-four acres of land in Range twenty, Township eight, Section twelve except the field in the north east corner of the plantation joining brother Nathan Hinshaw.  I leave my claim of that field to brother Nathan Hinshaw by him making our brother George Hinshaw a good title for the ballance of the track or parcel of land my right on the land.  My right on the land that we bought in partnership of George Rains shall be of no effect but he shall sold himself the same as if I had made him a deed for it.  

Seventh, I will to my brother George Hinshaw all that tract of land in Section two, Range Twenty Township eight, being part of the south east quarter supposed to be one hundred and sixty-one acres.  

Note: interlineation and erasures should be noted above or in the body of the attestation so that it may appear upon the face of the will that they were made before or at the time of the execution of the will.  

In testimony sure of I here unto set my hand and and seal to this my last will and testament this the 12th day of November 1850.
