Alonzo, along with his father Amos, moved from Indiana to Missouri.4  

He married Mattie D. Christian1,3,5,7 [Martha D. Christian6], about 18741,3,5,7.  Mattie, daughter of George Christian5,6,9,10, was born Jan 2 18585,6,9,10 [Jan 3 18583], Missouri5,6,9,10.  

Alonzo lived on a farm on Jemerson Creek near Hartsburg, Boone County, Missouri.  He was a big cattle feeder.4

Francis Alonzo Hinshaw died Aug 28 1900, buried Goshen Cemetery, behind Goshen Primitive Baptist Church, near Wilton, Boone County, Missouri.3,12  Alonzo died from pneumonia after he had chased a cow across Jameson Creek.4

Living next door in 1910 was the family of son Walter;13 living five more houses away was the family of son Allen.14  

Widow Mattie was shown in the 1920 census (Jan 5 1920), living alone in Cedar Township, Boone County, Missouri:9

Mattie died May 12 1944, at her home, 2 miles north of Hartsburg, Boone County, Missouri; age 86y 4m 10d.3,10
