He married Ruth Irene Thompson, Feb - 1937, San Diego, San Diego County, California.¹  Ruth, daughter of Archibald G. Thompson & Lela Pearl Gifford, was born Nov 20 1919, Yakima, Washington.^1,2,4  

Edward and Ruth were apparently divorced.  Ruth remarried to a -- Siegert.²  Ruth died Mar 19 2002, Port Orchard, Kitsap County, Washington; buried Frayola Cemetery, 1151 Mitchell Ave., Port Orchard, Washington.^1,2  

He then married Jacqueline Allen, Nov 6 1948, Bellingham, Whatcom County, Washington.¹  Jacqueline was born about 1925, Twin Falls, Twin Falls County, Idaho.¹
