She married Everett Mayfield Briles.4,5  Everett was born Jun 21 18874,5,7 [about 18906], Randleman, Randolph County, North Carolina4,5,7.

Glenn Albert "Toby" Briles, born 1916, North Carolina; died Dec 14 2004. 5,6,8

On Jun 5 1917 Everett Mayfield Briles, age 30, registered for the World War I draft in Randleman, Randolph County, North Carolina.  He declared his residence as Randleman, North Carolina, and his occupation as "mill operative" employed with Deep River Mills, Inc.  in Randleman.  He declared he was married, with dependent wife and child and mother, although there is also a notation "wife and mother not dependent on this party".  He was recorded as tall, medium build, gray eyes, dark brown hair.7  

Ethel and family were shown in the 1920 census (Feb 18 1920), living with her father and brother Edgar in Randolph County, North Carolina:5
