Luanne had many passions in her life including most anything concerned with animals. She has nurtured rescue dogs throughout her life. "Missy" is her current loving companion. She enjoyed her yard and flowers and spent many hours working in her garden. She has been a generous caregiver to friends in need and a loving and cherished friend to a host of individuals she and Robin call "family". She also leaves a number of special friends that have been always ready to help her during her illness, especially Kathryn Russell, Pat Wagner, Karen Bostic and Lisa Monk. Luanne enjoyed the friendship she formed with the "Board", long-time members of a group of Robin's golf companions and special friends. Those who love Luanne will be left with memories of her beauty, intellect, unconditional love, kindness and her devotion to her family and friends. Everyone will miss her sweet spirit and strength of character. The Family will hold a private memorial service. A celebration of Luanne's life will be held at a later date. The Family has established a Facebook page in Luanne's memory: Facebook.com/ LMHcelebration. All are encouraged to share your feelings, memories, pictures and stories regarding Luanne.
