Charles and Mary were apparently divorced.  Mary remarried c1898 to Newell/Newel Menifee Scott.1  Newell had been previously married Nov 21 1878 to a Malissa Wadley.28  Mary and family were shown in the 1900 census (Jun 9 1900), Sapulpa, Creek Nation, Indian Territory (Oklahoma):1

He then married Melinda Canard2 [Malinda Canard32].  Melinda was of American-Indian descent2,3 (one-quarter Creek by blood).32  

Melinda died in childbirth of a second child, which also died.2  Son Tom was then raised by his maternal grandparents.2  

He then married Sarah Jane Glasco4,6,19 [Sarah J. Glascoe33, Serrah Glasco5, Sally Glasco10,24], Dec 9 18974,6,19, McHerweath, Indian Territory4,6,19.  Sarah, daughter of William Lafette Glasco & Sarah Rosanna Yaws4,5,34, was born Jul - 18764,5,34 [Aug 3 187719,33, Aug 3 188024], Bastrop County, Texas4,5,34.  

Sarah had a son, Jesse Glasco, who was born about two years prior to their marriage, who was adopted by Charles and became Jesse Henshaw2 (Jesse's biological father is uncertain - he might have been Charles Alonzo Henshaw himself).
