Robert E. Henshaw, 87, of Hellertown, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014, in St. Luke's Hospice House.  He was the husband of Charlotte E. (Mills) Henshaw.  They celebrated their 67th anniversary in September.  Born in Scranton, he was a son of the late Freeman and Lydia (Kossman) Henshaw.  A World War II veteran of the U. S. Navy, Robert was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for many years until retiring as Assistant to the Manager of Sales - Fasteners.  He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.  He volunteered at St. Luke's Hospital for more than 20 years, and belonged to the Hellertown American Legion Post and Dewey Fire Co.  Survivors: Wife; son, Thomas and his wife Anne of Hellertown; daughters, Sandra, and her husband Dr. Edward Nolan of Mechanicsburg and Tami and her husband Paul Hludzik, Jr. of Bethlehem; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Jane, in 1966.  Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by burial in Hellertown Union Cemetery.  Family and friends may call Tuesday 9:30 - 10:45 a.m.  Contributions: St. Luke's Hospice, St. Luke's Volunteer Services or St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
