MRS. MARY CATHERINE ROUZER, wife of Morris L. Rouzer and daughter of the late Dr. John J. and Margaret Rouzer Henshaw, died at her home on Carroll street, Thurmont, early Friday morning after an illness of six weeks. She was aged 74 years, eight months and three days.
Surviving in addition to her husband are the following children: Mrs. H. J. Snead, Mrs. V. M. Birely, Carroll H. Rouzer, all of Washington, and John M. Rouzer, Hagerstown; also seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. One brother, John H. Henshaw, Baltimore; another brother, William R. Henshaw, Thurmont, and two sisters, Misses M. Grace and Anna E. Henshaw, of Thurmont, also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted from the late residence by Rev. Charles H. Corbett, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church, Thurmont, where the deceased was a member on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment in the United Bretheran church cemetery, Thurmont.

MORRIS L. ROUZER, 83, Thurmont, died Tuesday noon at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Helen Sneed, Bethesda.
His wife, the late Mrs. Mamie Henshaw Rouzer, predeceased him several years.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church and the I.O.O.F., Thurmont.
Surviving him are these children, Mrs. Sneed, Bethesda; Mrs. Victor Birely, Washington; John Rouzer, Thurmont; Carroll Rouzer, Washington; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Luther Rouzer, Baltimore, and Arthur Rouzer, Thurmont.
The body rests at the funeral home in Thurmont where friends may call.
Funeral services will be conducted there Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Rev. Charles H. Corbett will officiate.
Interment in Thurmont United Brethren cemetery.
