Carol Annette Hinshaw, age 53, of Niota died Monday at her home. She was comptroller for Lenoir City Ford and a former employee of Gray Epperson Ford in Athens. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Athens Church of Christ, with visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home is in charge.

Carol Annette Hinshaw - Feb. 23, 2015 Carol Annette Hinshaw, 53, of Niota, passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, at her residence.
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was preceded in death by her mother, Imogene Hester Barnes; brother, Keith Barnes; and father-in-law, Henry Hinshaw.
She was comptroller for Lenoir City Ford, and a former employee of Gray Epperson Ford in Athens. She was a member of Athens Church of Christ and a graduate of McMinn County High School.
Survivors include her husband, Scott Hinshaw of Niota; daughter, Kelsey Daniels of Athens; son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Kayla Daniels of Sweetwater; two stepsons, Pat Hinshaw of Athens and Jeff Hinshaw and wife, Ashley, of Greeneville, South Carolina; two granddaughters, Madison Rose Daniels and Elora Hinshaw; grandson, Logan Hinshaw; father and wife, Jerry and Sharon Wallace of Niota; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff Wallace of Niota, Tim and Eva Wallace of Niota, and Randy and Margie Wallace of Athens; mother-in-law, Lorna Hinshaw of Miamisburg, Ohio; very special friend, Donna Wilson Kettenbeil; and several special aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the Athens Church of Christ with Ministers Mark Littleton and Travis Irwin officiating.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, in McMinn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Daniels, Pat Hinshaw, Jeff Hinshaw, Justin Wallace, Andrew Wallace and Randy Wallace.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the Athens Church of Christ, 1016 North Ave., Athens.
