Born Feb 3 18803 [Feb - 18784,5]. The Daniel Matthew Hanshew family bible shows an 1880 birth year, but John's gravestone shows 1881.3 An 1881 birthdate is more likely as John was not included in the 1880 census enumeration of his family on Jun 25 1880.6
He married Delphie Jones.3,7 Delphie was born 1881, Arkansas.7
John and family were shown in the 1920 census (Jan 6 1920), Stonewall Township, Johnson County, Arkansas:2

Living next door in 1920 was the family of brother Andrew.1
Delphie died 1946.7
John B. Hanshew died 1965, buried Liberty Hill Cemetery, Hunt, Johnson County, Arkansas.3,4
