He married Anna Marie Mary Magdalene Clark, Jan 16 1912, Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska.² Anna was born 1889, Iowa.^1,2,3

Although raised as a Quaker, Harry converted to Catholicism prior to his marriage to Anna.²

On Jun 1 1917 Harry Earthel Hinshaw, age 29, registered for the World War I draft in Red Willow County, Nebraska. He declared he was born February 1 1888 in Randolph County, Indiana, and was then residing at 109 2nd E., McCook, [Red Willow County,] Nebraska where he had a wife and two children and was a railroad brakeman employed by the C. B. & A. Railroad in McCook. He was recorded as medium height, medium build, brown eyes, dark brown hair, partly bald.⁵

Harry and family were shown in the 1920 census (Jan 8 1920), 702 Second Street West, Willow Grove Township, Red Willow County, Nebraska:¹

Harry and family were again shown in the 1930 census (Apr 18 1930), Wymore, Gage County, Nebraska:³

Harry worked all his life with the railroad, retiring as a VP of Burlington Northern.²
