Born Feb 20 1789, Randolph County, North Carolina.1,2,3,4  Mary and Rebecca were twins.  

At Cane Creek MM on 12-5-1795, Mary & her sister Sarah were received by request.5  

She married Joseph Hadley, 3-17-1808, Holly Spring PM, Randolph County, North Carolina.1,3,4,5,6  Joseph, son of Joshua Hadley & Ruth Lindley, was born Jun 13 1787, Cane Creek MM, Chatham County, North Carolina.3,7,8,9  

Note Joseph's brother Joshua Hadley married Mary's twin sister Rebecca.  Note also that Joseph's father had earlier married (as his second wife) Mary's second cousin, Jane Hinshaw!3

Ruth Hadley, 1810-1879, married Charles Stuart.
William Hadley, 1813-1903, married (1) Mary Ann Holliday, (2) Edith Haydock, (3) Elizabeth Lewis.
Jane Hadley, 1814-1850, married Jesse Britton.
Joshua Hadley, 1815-1909, married (1) Lydia Hobson, (2) Elizabeth Ballinger.
Joel Hadley, 1817.
Rebecca Hadley, 1819-1886, married (1) Peter Allen, (2) John Mills, (3) Abner B. Lamb.
Mary Hadley, 1821-1861, married Joseph Ratliff Hobson.
Riley Hadley, 1823-1851, married Netta McCracken.
Julia Hadley, 1824-1892, married Jesse Hinshaw.
Josephus Hadley, 1827-1882, married Sarah McCracken.
Hulda Hadley, 1829-1856, married William Davis.

Joseph and Mary were pioneer settlers near Richland, Iowa and were one of the large land owners south of Richland.11  

Mary Hinshaw died Apr 30 1860, Keokuk County, Iowa; buried Richland, Keokuk County, Iowa.1,3,8  

Joseph died Nov 26 1859, Richland, Keokuk County, Iowa; buried Friends Cemetery, north of Richland, Keokuk County, Iowa.3,7,8
