She married Joseph Hadley, 3-17-1808, Holly Spring PM, Randolph County, North Carolina.^1,3,4,5,6 Joseph, son of Joshua Hadley & Ruth Lindley, was born Jun 13 1787, Cane Creek MM, Chatham County, North Carolina.^3,7,8,9

Note Joseph's brother Joshua Hadley married Mary's twin sister Rebecca. Note also that Joseph's father had earlier married (as his second wife) Mary's second cousin, Jane Hinshaw!³

Joseph and Mary were pioneer settlers near Richland, Iowa and were one of the large land owners south of Richland.¹¹

Mary Hinshaw died Apr 30 1860, Keokuk County, Iowa; buried Richland, Keokuk County, Iowa.^1,3,8

Joseph died Nov 26 1859, Richland, Keokuk County, Iowa; buried Friends Cemetery, north of Richland, Keokuk County, Iowa.^3,7,8
