She then married Robert Lee Swaim, Jun 25 1890, Jackson County, Alabama.^1,5 Robert, son of Moses Swaim, Jr. & Elizabeth Vandiver, was born Jun - 1867, Alabama.^1,2,6 Robert was the brother of Martha's father's first wife, Susan Ann Swaim.¹

Martha and family were shown in the 1900 census (Jun 4 1900), Tarrant County, Texas:²

Martha C. Hinshaw died Mar 17 1903, Johnson Station, Tarrant County, Texas; buried Johnson Station Cemetery, South Cooper Street, Arlington, Tarrant County, Texas.^1,3,10 Buried in the same cemetery is cousin Warren Peter Hinshaw and his wife.³

Martha's death was noted in the "Arlington Weekly Journal" on Thursday, March 19, 1903:¹⁰
