Margaret Elizabeth "Lizzie" Simmons, born Dec 16 1860, Mississippi; died Nov 14 1930, Bogata, Red River County, Texas; buried Bogata Cemetery; married 1875, Samuel McConial Wright (in Mississippi). 9
Twin of Margaret Elizabeth, born Dec 16 1860; died at birth.
William Henry "Willie" Simmons, born Nov 24 1863; died Jan 5 1934, Bogata, Red River County, Texas; married Betty Harris (in Mississippi).

Cynthia and Willie lived in Senatobia, Desoto (now Tate) County, Mississippi.3  

Willie was killed in the Civil War.8  

Widow Malinda and family were shown in the 1870 census living in her father's household in Arkabutla, DeSoto (now Tate) County, Mississippi:10,11

She then married John Thomas Watts, Mar 23 1879, Senatobia, Tate County, Mississippi.5,14,15,16  John, son of Alfred Burton Watts & Dorthea St. John, was born Mar 20 1849, Union County, South Carolina.5,6,15,16

Henshaw, Meredith, father-in-law, age 74, born in South Carolina; parents born in South Carolina; widower.

Malinda and family (and her children) moved to Sylvan, Lamar County, Texas.8  Malinda and John were shown in the 1900 census (Jun 20 1900), Dupont, Lamar County, Texas:5

Watts, John T, head-of-household, age 51, born Mar 1849 in South Carolina; parents born in South Carolina; married 21 years; occupation: farmer; owned farm (free); cannot write.
Watts, Malinda C, wife, age 61, born Jan 1839 in Mississippi, parents born in North Carolina; married 21 years; 2 children, 2 living.

Malinda Henshaw died Apr 15 1902, Lamar County, Texas; buried East Post Oak Cemetery, Post Oak, Lamar County, Texas.6,17  

John remarried to Eula Criss, c1904.  John was shown in the 1910 census (Apr 1910), Lamar County, Texas:18

John was shown in the 1920 census (Feb 12 1920), Lamar County, Texas:19

Watts, J T, head-of-household, age 70, born in South Carolina; parents born in South Carolina; owned home (free); occupation: capitalist, own account.
Watts, Eula, wife, age 51, born in Alabama; parents born in Alabama.

John died Apr 5 1923, Lamar County, Texas; buried East Post Oak Cemetery, Post Oak, Lamar County, Texas.6,17
