He married Isabell Woodley, Apr 23 1600, Walton on the Hill, Lancashire, England.1

Note: Joseph's parents are not known for sure.  However, in the records of the same parish where Joseph's marriage is recorded are also records of a Hinshaw family group of approximately the same age / time period as Joseph.  One of these records, the marriage of Margerie Henshall, shows her parents as William Henshall and Margerie Gyll.  It is presumed that Margerie was Joseph's sister and therefore William Henshall was his father.
