He married Laura Catherine Hudson, Aug 22 1867, Rappahannock County, Virginia.2,4,5  (Aug 23 1867).4  Laura was born about 1847, Virginia.3,7

On Mar 10 1862 Thomas W. Earley enlisted as a private in Company C, 4th Virginia Cavalry.  Noted for Distinguished Service.  Surrendered at Gordonsville, Virginia on May 20 1865.8  First cousin Fayette Henshaw enlisted on Jul 24 1861 and served in the same unit.8
