S., '72 - '74; LL. B., 1874; with Judge Charles Kirkland, Hon. Luther R. Marsh, and Coudert Brothers, '74 - '79; Lawyer, 20 Nassau St., N.Y. city, since '79.  Married, (1) Dec. 8, 1880, Jessie, dau. of John T. Allen, of N.Y. city, who died at Stamford, Conn., Aug. 3, 1886; (2) Nov. 24, 1896, Mary Ann, dau. of Hon. John McKeon, and widow of George F. Hecker of N.Y. city.  Two children.
