Car Hits, Kills Deer
NEWCOMERSTOWN -- A deer ran into the path of a car driven by Paul Hanshaw, 54, Port Washington Route 2, and was killed on U. S. 36 about 1 1/2 miles east of Port Washington at 9:15 a.m. Sunday.
Hanshaw told the State Highway Patrol the deer caused moderate damage to his car when it was struck.

Following an accident at the intersection of Main and Bridge Sts., at 3:34 p.m. Thursday, Thomas L. Kenney, 35, Route 2, was cited for failure to yield the right of way. His vehicle is alleged to have struck one driven by Paul Hanshaw, 53, Port Washington. There was minor damage to Kenney's car and moderate to Hanshaw's.
