She married Watson Summers Norman3 [Wattie Norman8, Wally Norman6], about 19133.  Watson, son of Phillip Norman & Catherine Robinson2,3,5,11,12,13,14, was born Aug 2 18792,3,5,11,12,13,14, Calhoun County, West Virginia2,3,5,11,12,13,14 [Roane County, West Virginia15].  

Watson had been previously married c1899 to a Georgia --.11,16  

Child:

Otha M. Norman, born Mar 12 1917, West Virginia; enlisted Jun 4 1945, U.S. Army; died Jul 2 1979, buried Pee-Wee Cemetery, Madison County, Indiana. 3,9,14,16,17

On Sep 12 1918 Watson Summers Norman, age 39, registered for the World War I draft in Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia.  He declared he was born Aug 2 1879, and was then residing in London, Kanawha County, West Virginia where he was a miner employed by the London Mining Co. of London.  He declared his nearest relative was Florie Ester Norman of London.  He was recorded as medium height, medium build, brown eyes, dark hair.5

Flora and family were shown in the 1930 census (Apr 3 1930), 315 Cottage Avenue, Anderson, Indiana:3

Norman, Watson S., head-of-household, age 50, born in West Virginia; parents born in West Virginia; first married at age 19; owned home ($4000 value); no radio in home; occupation: laborer, house contractor; not a war veteran.
Norman, Flora E., wife, age 43, born in West Virginia; parents born in West Virginia; first married at age 25.
Norman, Otha M., son, age 13, born in West Virginia; parents born in West Virginia; single; attende school.
Hanshaw, Mary D., mother-in-law, age 79, born in West Virginia; parents born in United States; widow.

In 1936 Flora was still living in Anderson, Indiana.18  

In 1942 Watson Summers Norman, age 62, registered for the World War II draft.  He declared he was born Aug 2 1879 in Calhoun County, West Virginia, and was then residing at 315 Cottage Ave., Anderson, Madison County, Indiana (no telephone number), where he was employed by R.R. Byrum, 709 College Dr., Anderson, Indiana.  He declared a contact person as Otha Norman of 315 Cottage Ave., Anderson.12  

Watson died Jun 30 1956, at his home, 315 Cottage Ave., Anderson, Madison County, Indiana; age 76.13,14,15  

Watson's obituary was published in the "Anderson Daily Bulletin" (Anderson, Indiana) on Saturday, June 30, 1956 (page 3) - see obituary scan below.15,19  

She then married John A. Obanion.10  John was born Oct 5 1891.9  

In 1972 Flora was still living in/near Anderson, Madison County, Indiana.9  

Flora Ester Hanshaw died Oct 31 1972, at her home, 810 1/2 Central Ave., Anderson, Madison County, Indiana; buried East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson, Madison County, Indiana.9,10  

Flora's obituary was published in the "Anderson Daily Bulletin" (Anderson, Indiana) on Thursday, November 2, 1972 (page 2) - see obituary scan below.10  

In 1973 John remarried to an Elsie Modlin.20  

John died May 9 1975, Anderson, Madison County, Indiana; buried East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson, Madison County, Indiana.9,20
