On Sep 12 1918 Watson Summers Norman, age 39, registered for the World War I draft in Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia. He declared he was born Aug 2 1879, and was then residing in London, Kanawha County, West Virginia where he was a miner employed by the London Mining Co. of London. He declared his nearest relative was Florie Ester Norman of London. He was recorded as medium height, medium build, brown eyes, dark hair.⁵

Byrum, 709 College Dr., Anderson, Indiana. He declared a contact person as Otha Norman of 315 Cottage Ave., Anderson.¹²

Watson died Jun 30 1956, at his home, 315 Cottage Ave., Anderson, Madison County, Indiana; age 76.^13,14,15
