MEBANE - Mr. Earl Jackson ""Jack"" Hinshaw, 89, of Mebane, died Monday, September 10, 2012 in White Oak Manor in Burlington following a brief illness.  

Jack was born on May 11, 1923 in Alamance County, N.C. to the late Clyde I. and Laur Carter Hinshaw.  He was the owner and operator of Hinshaw Cabinet Shop for 39 years and was a member of Burlington First Church of the Nazarene.  

He is survived by his wife of almost 66 years, Doris Hoover Hinshaw of the home; son, Dwayne Hinshaw (Janeice) of Burlington; daughter, Beverly H. Walker (Kemp) of Graham; brother, Virgil Hinshaw (Josie) of Burlington; grandchildren, Brandon Walker of Tennessee, Holden Walker of Graham and Michael Hinshaw of Burlington.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ross and Floyd Hinshaw.  

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Burlington First Church of the Nazarene by the Rev. Jerry McCant.  Entombment will be in the mausoleum of Alamance Memorial Park.  

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., today at Walker's Funeral Home in Mebane and other times at the home.

Doris Oneida Hinshaw, 89, of Mebane passed away September 19, 2015.  She was born on February 5, 1926 to the late George Newton Hoover and Josephine Pierce Hoover.  

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Jack Hinshaw.  

Those left to cherish her memory include daughter, Beverly H. Walker and her husband Kemp of Graham, NC; son, Earl Dwayne Hinshaw and his wife Janeice of Burlington, NC; grandsons, Brandon Walker and his wife Joann of Nashville, TN, Holden Walker of Graham, NC, Michael Hinshaw of Burlington, NC; sisters, Ozetta Bunker and her husband Fred of Mebane, NC, Martha Collins of Mebane, NC, Hilda Lowery and her husband Del of Mebane, NC; brothers, Leo Hoover and his wife Beulah of Mebane, NC and John Hoover of Mebane, NC.  

Service will be 1 PM Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Burlington First Wesleyan Church with Pastor Dennis Boone officiating.  Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park, Burlington.  

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 PM, Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Walker's Funeral Home of Mebane.
