He married Sarah Jane Wright, Jan 17 1842, Clinton County, Ohio.1,6,7,9,10,11,12,13  Sarah was born 8-17-1821, Ohio.2,3,4,6,8  

Note that Timothy's brother John married Teresa Wright.  The relationship between Sarah Jane and Teresa is not known (sisters??).  

Timothy and his brothers John and Amos had all moved to Randolph County, Indiana sometime before 1850.3

Living two houses away in 1860 was the family of Rachel Hinshaw Hodgin.15  Also living nearby in 1860 was the family of Mary E. Hinshaw Daly.16  

At Cherry Grove MM on 4-13-1867, Timothy & wife Sarah Jane and daughters Melissa Jane & Ruth Ann "of Snow Hill", were received in membership.6

Living next door in 1870 was the family of cousin Nancy J. Hinshaw.17  

Timothy and family were shown in the 1880 census (Jun 10 1880), Washington Township, Randolph County, Indiana:18

Hinshaw, Timothy, age 65, born in Ohio; father born in Virginia [sic]; mother born in North Carolina; farmer.
Hinshaw, Sarah J., wife, age 58, born in Ohio; father born in Indiana; mother born in Kentucky; keeping house.
Cook, James J., age 16, born in Indiana; works on farm.
Living next door in 1880 were the families of sons Armenious19 and John,20 and nearby was the family of daughter Melissa.21  

Timothy Hinshaw died Feb 2 1881, Age 66 Yrs, 3 Mos.2,5,8,10,22,23  

Timothy's obituary was published as follows (as excerpted):10
