Clinton Monroe Hinshaw, age 25, registered for the World War I draft in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  He declared he was born June 25th 1891 in Yadkin County, North Carolina, and was then residing at 806 N. Trade, Winston-Salem where he was married and a machinist employed by Hanes Hosiery Mills.  He was recorded as medium height, medium build, brown eyes, black hair.9  

Clint worked in a textile mill.1
