Alma M. Cooper
Alma Mae Cooper, 87, of Martinsburg, died on Sunday, April 8, 2007, at City Hospital.
Born April 4, 1920, in Eden, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Emma Hinshaw.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, the Rev. Mason Cooper, two sons, Robert and his wife Jean of Covington, Va., and Larry and his wife Anita of Martinsburg, one brother, Swanson Hinshaw, of St. Augustine, Fla., and a sister, Elizabeth Martin of Roanoke, Va.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Wright and Catherine Hinshaw.
She and her husband shared a fruitful and successful ministry for over fifty years that reached into many states.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Brown Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 11, 2007, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
