He married Hannah Matilda Huff, Apr 11 1858, Yadkin County, North Carolina.^36,44,141    Hannah, daughter of Daniel Huff & Dinah Hobson, was born Dec 9 1830, North Carolina.^2,b,c,g    (Dec - 1831).^f,a,e

A marriage bond was recorded for Isaac Hinshaw & Hannah Huff on Apr 10 1858, Yadkin County, North Carolina.    They were married the following day by A. Speer (JP).³⁶

Note that the 1850 census shows that Hannah's family had lived just a few houses away from Isaac's family - they were neighbors.^g

At Deep Creek MM on 7-8-1859, Hannah Hinshaw (formerly Huff) was disowned for her "marriage out of unity".²

Note: Zeno Hinshaw married Abigail Huff.    Zeno and Isaac were fourth cousins once removed.    It is possible that Hannah Huff and Abigail Huff were related, but Isaac was married in North Carolina and Zeno was married in Indiana.

Isaac and Hannah were shown in the 1900 census (Jun 20 1900), living in the household of son William in Spiceland Township, Henry County, Indiana:^a

On Sep 26 1911, Isaac Hinshaw of Greensboro Township was admitted to the Henry County, Indiana Pauper's Asylum (aka the Henry County Home).    He was recorded as age 83, born in North Carolina.^l,m    Isaac seems to have been admited to the Henry County Home for health reasons rather than economic reasons (much as someone today might use a free health clinic) as he was admitted four times to the Home between 1911 and 1917, the last admission occuring just six hours before his death.^m

Isaac Hinshaw died Aug 13 1917, Henry County Home (Pauper's Asylum), Henry County, Indiana; age 89; buried Clear Springs Friends Cemetery, Harrison Township, Henry County, Indiana.^b,n,m,c

Hannah died 1917, Henry County, Indiana; buried Clear Springs Friends Cemetery, Henry County, Indiana.^b,c,228
