Byron Henshaw, 53 of Everett passed away November 15, 2004.    A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 20th at the Solie Funeral Home Chapel.

Byron Thomas Henshaw
Byron Thomas Henshaw, 53, peacefully passed away at his home on the morning of November 15, 2004.    He was born in Seattle, WA on October 3, 1951, the second son of Jack and Lucille Henshaw.    He grew up on Queen Anne Hill, attended Cole Elementary School and graduated from Queen Anne High School in 1969.    He married Christine O'Connor on July 17, 1976.
Byron had a love of the Culinary Arts and worked his way up from Dishwasher to Executive Chef.    Over the years he was a Sous Chef at the main kitchens of St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, the Olympic Hotel (Four Seasons) in Seattle.    He then became executive chef at the Camlin Hotel and Vance Hotel in Seattle.    He most recently held the position of Executive Chef at Merrill Gardens in Mill Creek before illness forced his retirement.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother Thomas and wife Denise Henshaw of Kirkland, his sister-in-law, Rochelle Henshaw, nephew Jonathan of Wichita, KS, as well as several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.    He also leaves behind his two beloved dogs, Bebe and Pepsi.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 20th at 3:30 p.m. at Solie Funeral Home at 3301, Colby Ave., Everett.    In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Hospice of Snohomish County, 2731 Wetmore Ave., Suite 500, Everett, WA 98201.
