Mrs. Frances "Panky" Hinshaw, 81, of 3504 Kirby Drive died March 29, 1993, at the Evergreens. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Buffalo Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. A native of Greensboro, she was a retired switchboard operator for Cone Mills. At her church, she was a member of the Women of the Church, a recipient of "Woman of the Year Award," a member of Circle Five, and the Ladies Bible Class. Surviving are husband, Clarence B. [sic] Hinshaw of the home; son, Donald Lee Hinshaw of Gresham, Oregon; two grandchildren. Contributions may be made to Buffalo Presbyterian Church World Mission Fund, 803 16th St., Greensboro, N.C. 27405. Forbis & Dick North Elm Street Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
