On Jun 5 1917 Clyde Branson Hinshaw, age 30, registered for the World War I draft in Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolina.  He declared he was born August 24 1886 in Randolph County, North Carolina, and was then residing at 124 Lexington [..unclear..], and had a dependent wife and child.  He was recorded as tall, slender, blue eyes, brown hair.9
