Born Sep 15 1845, Newberry MM, Friendsville, Blount County, Tennessee.2,45,63,a,b,c,d,e,205
Uriah became an officer of the Center MM, Iowa.63
He married Margaret Lucinda Janeway, Jun 30 1864, Jefferson County, Iowa.59,63,205    Margaret, daughter of Charles Janeway & Susan (Susanna) Hammer, was born Sep 15 1844, Jefferson County, Tennessee.63,f,g,c,d,e,205
Note: In spite of the IGI reference to this marriage occuring in Jefferson County, it is more likely that Uriah and Margaret were probably actually married in Jasper County.    In the late 1840s the Janeway family had moved to Jasper County, near the present town of Kellogg (then known as Hammer's Grove), and so Margaret was living in Jasper County at the time of the marriage.h    And Uriah and Margaret are shown in the 1880 census living in Kellogg Township, Jasper County.126    Jasper County was also the site of Center MM where their marriage was recorded.63
Uriah and family were shown in the 1870 census (Jun 23 1870), Newton, Malaka Township, Jasper County, Iowa:i

Hammer, of Kellogg, called the meeting to order at 11 o'clock a.m., after which the program of the day, consisting of music, speeches, a grand dinner &c., was carried out in a manner to insure a good time for all.    The next re-union will be held on the 3rd Wednesday in June, 1890.
Uriah and family were shown in the 1900 census (Jun 19 1900), Kellogg, Jasper County, Iowa:d
