Alonzo L. Hinshaw died Mar 20 1888, San Jose, Santa Clara County, California; age 21.5,6  

Alonzo's death was reported on Mar 21 1888 in the San Jose, California "Daily Herald" and also the5 "Evening News" (where he is shown age 21).7  The article from the "Daily Herald" (actually shown on the newspaper itself as "San Jose Daily Mercury") appears as follows:6

HINSHAW - In San Jose, March 20, 1888, A.L. Hinshaw, aged 21 years.  

Funeral TO-DAY (Wednesday) at 2 P.M., from Friends' Meeting House, Stockton avenue.  Residence opposite Home Seminary near Alameda.  Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend.
