Born Sep 10 1767, Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut.2,3,4,5,6  

William served as a boy with his father in the Continental Army during the Revolution.5  

William lived in Wells, Connecticut.7  

He married Jerusha Brace, Jan 11 1787, New Haven Second Church, New Hartford, Litchfield County, Connecticut.1,4,6,7  Jerusha was born near Sincoe, Townsend, Ontario, Canada.  

William and family were shown in the 1790 census, Wells, Rutland County, Vermont:8

Henshaw, Wm Jur:
1 Free Male over age sixteen (William).
2 Free Females (Jerusha and daughter Polly)

William Henshaw died Aug 5 1822, Townsend, Upper Canada.2,3,4,5,6  

Jerusha died 1822, Canada.9  

William and Jerusha both died of typhus fever in Canada while en route to Michigan.9
