She married Curtis Mahlon Hockett, Mar 8 1905, Aurora MM, South Dakota.1,5,9,10,12 Curtis, son of William Edwin Hockett & Mary Emily Carey, was born Aug 18 1875, Grant County, Indiana.1,3,4,5,6,7,8,10,13,14

On Sep 12 1918 Curtis Mahlon Hockett, age 43, registered for the World War I draft in Center, Nebraska (registering for Aurora County, South Dakota). He declared he was born August 18th 1875, and was then residing in Bloomfield, Knox County, Nebraska, employed as a laborer by J.B. Earl of Stickney, South Dakota. He declared his nearest relative was Stella Hockett of Bloomfield. He was recorded as medium height, medium build, blue eyes, brown hair.14
