He married Jean Louise Hill, Santa Monica, Los Angeles County, California.^a    Jean, daughter of Howard Niles Hill & Frances Elizabeth Morganegg, was born Feb 21 1931, California.^a

He then married Martha Joan McCord, Jul 24 1977.^a

Andrew is a veteran of WWII having served from 1942-45 in the U.S. Navy, first 20 months at the naval base in Kodiak, Alaska, then 17 months in the Pacific Theater of War aboard troop transports - Iwo Jima, Guam, Okinawa, and other Central Pacific combat areas; miscellaneous service medals.^a,d

Andrew was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives in the 93rd and 94th Congresses from Mission Viejo, California.^a

Eight years as county assessor (elected twice) of Orange County, California, 1965-72; 10 years with the California State Board of Equalization; 5 years with the Los Angeles, CA, County Assessor's office.^a
